We go to Chiang Mai next month and Khanun must fly with us. He is 3 year old ragdoll and very big, around 5 kg. I dont know if he can go in cabin or must be cargo. Also the carrier I buy from Shopee is too small, so scared. Very very worried for him.

The carrier size matters more than people think. For a 5 kg ragdoll you want a soft carrier roughly 50 x 30 x 30 cm at least, check the airline website for the exact cabin size before buying anything from Shopee. Call the airline to add the pet to the booking, slots are limited and some routes only allow a few cats per flight. Put a small blanket with his smell inside and don't feed him a big meal 4 hours before. Ask your vet about a health certificate if you are flying domestic, sometimes they ask for it.
+1 to Malee-san, please check the weight limit first. The carrier must be soft, hard one dont fit under the seat. My cat was very stressed in plane so i gave him calm snack before, but you should ask vet first, dont just give human medicine!!
Since it is not my cat I don't know much, but I think you should ask the airline about cabin rules before you buy the big carrier, because the size changes depending on the airline. Also if he eats too much before the flight it can make him sick in the air. Ragdoll is big so a bit more space in the carrier is good.
so cute mak!! Khanun is very big boy 555. I think you can bring him in cabin, u need soft carrier from the mall no need expensive one. Good luck na ka, my cat also scary in car so i feel for you
