Baby and the car, long post sorry

Baby is 1 year 8 month and she used to scream in the car from the first day we get her. Every trip to the market I hold her on my lap and she shake and drool. Very stressful. So I decide to fix it properly, not just buy the seat and hope.

Step 1, I put her bed inside the car, parked in the soi, with the door open. Let her smell the car and treat in there. We do this for 4 day, no engine.

Step 2, engine on for 1 minute then off. Keep the treat coming. Then 2 minute. Then 5. I dont rush.

Step 3, short ride to the 7-Eleven at the corner, 2 minute. Nothing too far for now.

The thing that really helped was the car seat with the strap and a blanket that smell like her. Her seat is in the middle back now. She still gets a bit nervous at the roundabout but she sleep now. Some day I still scared she jump out lol. Please use seatbelt for dogs, the cheap one from Shopee is fine as long as it clip properly, I check every time.
