bella and the new baby

Bella was the only baby in our house for 9 years. Then my sister had a baby boy last month and now everyone looks at him, not her.

The first week was hard. She sat by the door and didn't eat much. Mum said just give her time, so I walked her every evening around the soi, same route as always. Slowly she started coming back to herself.

Now she sleeps on the floor next to the crib. Not on the bed, she still knows that rule. When he cries she runs to check, then comes back to me with her tail up like she did her job.

We put one of her old toys in the crib so she knows it's her space too. My sister said the nurse at the clinic told her it's normal for dogs to get jealous.

Bella is 9 so maybe she's not jealous, maybe just tired lol.
