Bella

I am not sure if I should write this here. Bella passed away in March, she was 14 years old. She was my first dog in Bangkok, I brought her from Yangon when I moved here in 2012. Many years in Phra Khanong, she liked the walk near the canal every morning even when it was very hot.

Now Olive is here and he is a good boy, very playful, but he still looks for Bella in the hallway. Every night at 10 he goes to the balcony door, where Bella used to sit, and waits. I do not want to replace her, I just want to remember.

My neighbour says it is normal and it takes time. I know. Still hard. The apartment is quiet now. I keep her collar on the shelf next to the photo of the Shwedagon.
