first grooming for old grandpa namtarn

Namtarn is 11 years old and this was his first time at the groomer ever. Before this I always clip him at home with a cheap clipper and he hates it. The fur got so matted behind his ears that I cannot brush it anymore, so finally I take him to a proper place in Wang Thonglang near our condo.

When I pick him up he look like a different dog. Smaller, white, fluffy, and he smells nice. He keep shaking his head like he is confused. Rambo (my other dog, Shih Tzu) did not recognize him at first and barked at him for 5 minutes. Now they are fine.

The groomer say his skin is a bit dry, so she give cream. Next time we do it more often. I am happy but also a bit sad because he looks so small now.
