pet friendly hotel: questions I ask now before booking

Zeus is a chihuahua, 2.9 years old, and she is very afraid of the car. We have been on 4 trips this year and every hotel says pet friendly, but they mean different things.

Now I always ask these before booking. Is it per room or per pet? Are dogs allowed in the restaurant and the pool area, or only the room? Is there a weight limit? Some places said yes but only under 5kg, and Zeus is 3.1kg so it was close.

I also ask if they have a bed or mat, cause we forgot our bed last time and she sleep on the cold tile all night. Ask if they recieve dog food or we must bring from home. Definately ask about the cleaning fee too, it was 500 baht at one place and 1500 at another, very different.

Its not hard to ask, just send a message on the website or LINE. Most staff answer in 1 day.
