road trip with bonbon
We drove from Si Racha up to Khao Yai with Bonbon last weekend. She is only 2 months old and this was her first long car trip. I was scared she would be sick all the way, but she was ok. We stop every hour, give her small water and let her sniff the grass at the rest stop.
The mountain road was the worst part. She threw up once near the tunnel, so now we keep a towel and a plastic bag in the front seat. She cried for a bit and then fell asleep on my lap with her head on my seatbelt.
We stayed at a small house with a garden. Bonbon ran around the grass like crazy, she found a frog and was so proud of herself. My husband took about 200 photos of her in one hour, which is normal for us now.
Tips: put the crate low in the car so she does not get scared by the air con, and freeze a little water bowl before you go. It helps the heat.

Bonbon is so small for a road trip! Did you use a car seat or a carrier? Which one you think is better for a dog who throw up?
