Taxi and Grab with Milo, some tips from Thonglor
Milo is a 6-year-old Shih Tzu and he is very calm, but taxi drivers in Bangkok do not always accept dogs. I have had many drivers say no, even when I was sitting with the dog in my lap. Now I have a routine.
When booking through the app, I always write about the dog in the notes first. I found the drivers accept more often if you say the dog is small and stays in the carrier. Milo sits in a small bag with a mesh window. This is important because some drivers say they do not want fur on the seats.
Please bring a towel for the seat. Even if you do not need it, the driver may feel better when you have it.
For BTS, I use the carrier too. The staff at the station did not check, but I think a very large dog would be a problem.
Be patient, sometimes you wait 20 minutes. It is normal in Bangkok.

Milo must be the best behaved passenger in bangkok. Kopi gets 3 taxi refusals a day lol, the mesh bag idea is genius tho
