日本語Teeth brushing for an old Shiba

Teddy is 8 and has never let anyone near his mouth until last year. The vet in Jomtien gave us a talk about dental disease and he had some tartar that needed scaling. That scared me enough to start brushing.
We use a finger brush and a dog toothpaste (poultry flavour, he likes it). Start by lifting his lip and touching the teeth, then one or two gentle strokes on the outside. Two minutes is too long for him, so we do about 30 seconds.
Bruno the cat doesn't need brushing, he eats whatever he wants and still looks fine.

I worry about the teeth thing, my neighbour dog has bad breath and I think it's the same issue. Good you started early.

How often do you brush him? Once a day or every other day? My Pla hates teeth stuff too lol, whats the trick
