Tip: paperwork for flying domestic with a dog
We flew Nemo from Samut Sakhon to Chiang Mai last month and I learned some things the hard way. The airline asked for a few papers I didnt have ready at the counter.
First, you need a health certificate from a vet, dated within 10 days of the flight. Some airlines want it in English too, so ask the vet to write both. Second, vaccination record with the rabies date clear on it. Third, pet passport if you have one, but for domestic it is not always required. Check the airline website before you go.
Second thing, the crate. The size have to be exactly under the seat or it go to cargo hold. We measure with a tape measure at home, not guess. The seat is so tight at the back so buy a lower crate.
Also, call the airline 48 hour before and tell them the dog is coming, make the booking for pet specifically. They only accept limited number per flight so it fill up fast.
I spend about 2 hour on the paperwork and I cried a bit at the airport but Nemo was fine. He sleep the whole way. Good luck.

Flew Leo from Bangkok to Phuket last year. The airline also wanted a certificate within 10 days. What I did different: printed two copies and kept one in my bag. The vet also wrote a note saying he is calm, which the staff liked.
