boba and the paper bag thing

Every morning Boba waits by the kitchen counter for the paper bag from the bakery. Not the bread, just the bag. She sits in it, pushes it around the floor with her nose and then sleeps inside until I need to take it out for the trash. I think she thinks it is a cave?? Her own private cave in a condo on the 8th floor, very sad for me to take it away. Last week I put a new bag from Shopee on the counter to see what she do. It was plastic, not paper, and she sniff it for 2 second and walk away like I insulted her. Persian cat are very dramatic, I know this now. So now I only buy the brown bags, she know them because they make the crinkle sound. The sound is her trigger lol. I tried to put a box next to it but she just prefer bag. Even the box from the air con, the big one with holes, she ignore. I dont understand her but I love her so much. My husband says I am spoiling her and he is right, he is also spoiling her with the chicken treats when I am not looking. Yesterday she knocked the bag off the table and then sat on it like she won a prize. Very proud face. I took a photo for my sister in Khon Kaen and she sent back ten heart emoji. So maybe it is a good cat thing after all. Anyway she is asleep in the bag right now, I think she will not let me take it for at least another 2 hours. Good, I can finish my coffee in peace.
