Pudding adopted us, not the other way round

We did not plan to get a dog. Last January we were coming back from the market in Si Racha and there was this skinny brown dog sitting by the 7-eleven parking. She was not scared of people but she kept following my husband. I said no. He said just one bag of food. Two weeks later she is sleeping on our bed and we call her Pudding because she is round in the belly and loves custard. Her fur was full of ticks when we recieved her, took 3 weeks of baths to get rid of them. The vet said she has a bad tooth and maybe 2 years old. Our neighbour Khun Somchai thought we were crazy adopting a soi dog, but now everyone on the soi knows her and gives her small pieces of chicken. Every evening she waits at the gate when I come back from work. She does not bark, she just stand there and wags. Its not a perfect life for her, the heat is hard and she hate the rain, but she is happy and so are we. I think definately the best decision this year.
