chopper and leo and the fridge situation

Leo has decided the top of the fridge is his and nobody is allowed up there. Chopper cannot reach it, so he just sits underneath and stares up at the bird like he is waiting for a dropped snack. It is the most dramatic thing that happens in our condo all day.

He is basically an old man in a puppy body. Naps for three hours after breakfast, does the slow stretch on the rug, then gets up to bark at the lift because he heard it ding. Leo says nothing about this.

We are learning as we go. The vet said to keep his joints in check at this age and not let him jump off the sofa, so we bought one of those little steps. He ignores it completely and jumps anyway.
