first grooming (he hates me now)

Took Mocha to a pet salon near Bang Phli for his first proper groom. I booked the full package, bath, nails, sanitary trim and the pug face tidy, which I think cost about 900 baht.

He came out smelling like strawberry shampoo and looked completely offended. He walked past me to the car like he did not know me. Since then he has been giving me the silent treatment, which for a pug is quite the performance.

To be fair, his coat looks way better and the ears are clean for once. The groomer said his skin was a bit red around the belly so she gave me a cream to try at home, which we have been doing for a week.

Next time I might try the mobile grooming option so he does not have to sit in a cage all morning. Anyone done that in Samut Prakan?
