Ginger's First Grooming Trip Went Sideways
Ginger is a four-month-old mixed-breed pup who thinks she's a lap dog. Last week I booked her first grooming appointment at a shop in Pattaya, expecting a simple bath and a trim. What I got was a forty-five minute wrestling match and a dog with bubbles on her ears.
To be honest, the staff were patient and kind. They warned me she'd be nervous, and they were right. I should have brought a favorite toy and some treats so she had something to focus on. Next time I'll do a short visit first, just to meet the staff, before the full appointment.
She looks fabulous now, fluffy and proud, although she still sneezes when we walk past the shop.

We're going to try a short trial visit with Simba first, maybe a quick bath and a walk, before booking a full grooming session. I think he'd handle it better if the first trip is short and calm.

Ginger basically earned her first wrestling title, so the bubbles on her nose are probably her trophy. Matcha would have just stared at the groomer from the top of the bookshelf, honestly.
