matted goldens, my bad
Lulu got matted behind the ears after the rainy season started and I had to shave a patch, sorry buddy. Learned the hard way that goldens shed like crazy in Thai heat and the undercoat just knots up if you skip a few days.
What actually works for us: brush the undercoat with a rake every couple of days, not just the top. Start at the belly and work up. Its boring but worth it.
Bath every 3 weeks max, any more and the skin gets dry and itchy in this climate. Dont let them get wet and leave the coat damp. Dry them properly with a towel and a dryer on low, or they smell like a wet sock within an hour.
Buying the fancy furminator was a waste of money for us, a cheap rake from Lazada did the job.
Bua is a lot easier, he is young and his coat is still soft. Lulu is 6 now and his coat thinks it's still 2 years old lol.
