Pondคืนวันพุธฝนตกหนักมาก ตอนกลับจากทำงานผมเห็นหมาตัวหนึ่งนั่งตัวสั่นอยู่ใต้ป้ายรถเมล์หน้าซอยทองหล่อ ตัวเปียกไปหมด ผมไม่มีของกินติดตัวเลย ก็เลยเดินไปซื้อไก่ย่างที่ร้าน 7-Eleven ข้างๆ
ผมไม่รู้จะทำยังไง ก็เลยนั่งข้างๆ ไม่ได้จับมันเลย ฉีกไก่วางไว้บนพื้นให้มันดม รอนานมาก เกือบสิบห้านาทีมันถึงกินได้ ตอนนั้นผมแค่รู้สึกว่าอยากให้มันปลอดภัยสักคืนนึง
ผมโทรหาคนที่เคยช่วยหมาจรในกลุ่มชุมชนของคอนโด เขาบอกให้ถ่ายรูปแล้วลงในกลุ่ม พร้อมบอกจุดที่เจอ ตอนนั้นไม่มีใครรับว่าเป็นเจ้าของ แต่เขาบอกให้แยกหมาออกจากถนนก่อน อย่าให้มันวิ่งลงถนน
วันรุ่งขึ้นผมได้ติดต่อมูลนิธิในเขตที่ช่วยหาที่รับเลี้ยง ใช้เวลาหลายวัน แต่ตอนนี้มันไปอยู่บ้านใหม่แล้ว ผมไม่ได้จับเองทั้งหมด แต่ได้ช่วยส่งข้อความและเติมน้ำ
ถ้าเจอหมาจรตอนฝนตก อย่าเพิ่งรีบอุ้ม เพราะมันอาจกัดด้วยความกลัว ให้ดูก่อนว่ามันบาดเจ็บไหม แล้วค่อยหาคนช่วยนะครับ ผมไม่ได้เก่งอะไร แค่ไม่อยากเดินผ่านไปเฉยๆ

I think feeding a stray in the rain is fine, but I would not sit so close. Some strays bite when they are scared. The chicken from the shop was a good idea though.

Haha the chicken from 7-11 is a legend. My cat Ping think the same, she go crazy for it. Chicken pieces dont always work for stray tho.
