Dogs and cats are welcome under the hotel's pet programme. The weight limit is 10 kg per pet, with a maximum of 1 pet per room. The pet fee is THB 1,500 net per pet per night. Pets are allowed only in the River View Room and the Panorama River View Junior Suite.

Each pet receives a plush bed and food and water bowls. Cats also get a litter box, and a welcome kit includes a placemat, leash, toy, biodegradable waste bags, pet pads, wipes and welcome cookies.

Pets are allowed on the ground floor at the concierge and The Pantry, on a leash or in a carrier. They may also enter the ground floor of Riverside Plaza in a pet bag, carrier or stroller, and use the outdoor terrace and the riverfront walkway. Pets are not allowed in the fitness centre, the rooftop pool area or the other hotel restaurants.

Description

Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel (อวานี พลัส ริเวอร์ไซด์ กรุงเทพฯ) opened in 2016 and is run by Minor Hotels. It is a modern 26-storey high-rise on the Chao Phraya River with about 248 to 250 contemporary rooms and suites.

Every room faces the river, with floor-to-ceiling windows and views of the skyline and the water. The hotel is known for its high-ceilinged lobby on the 11th floor.

On the 26th-floor rooftop are a 28-metre infinity pool and SEEN Restaurant and Bar. The hotel is directly connected to Riverside Plaza, which gives guests covered access to shops, cafés and restaurants.

Neighbourhood

The hotel stands on the quieter Thon Buri bank of the river, with a more relaxed waterfront atmosphere than central Bangkok and easy links across the water.

Getting there

The address is 257 Charoen Nakhon Road, Samre, Thon Buri, Bangkok. By public transport, take the BTS Silom Line to Saphan Taksin station (Exit 2), walk to Sathorn Pier and board the hotel's complimentary river shuttle boat to the pier beside the hotel.

By car or taxi, follow Charoen Nakhon Road in Thon Buri, reached via the Rama III Bridge or the Krungthep Bridge.

The hotel is about 35–40 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport and about 25–30 km from Don Mueang Airport, by expressway taxi or hotel airport transfer. Free self-parking and valet parking are offered to registered hotel and restaurant guests.
