Dogs are allowed only on the open-air, naturally ventilated third floor. According to the Pup Cities directory, the second-floor air-conditioned café room is closed to pets. Reviews and social media describe the café as pet friendly and do not dispute this rule.
There is no pet menu, no pet fee and no weight or breed limit stated. The café has no resident animals. Pets must be on a leash or in a carrier or stroller on the stairs and in shared areas.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Description
Pulse Phra-Arthit is a lifestyle coffee shop with the motto Coffee, Scenery and Music, set in a restored shophouse above the Coconut Culture ice cream parlour. Large picture windows frame the tree canopies of the neighbourhood.
The menu centres on specialty coffee, TWG teas, matcha lattes and artisan chocolate. Signature drinks include the Sunbeam, a pineapple, orange and lemon juice topped with matcha cream, and the Sundown, a cinnamon coffee with sweet cream and burnt sugar and orange. Desserts include soft cookies with fresh whipped cream, burnt cheesecake and chiffon cakes.
It is a human café rather than a dog café, with no dog play areas, grooming or pet supplies. The third floor is open to the air and runs a little warmer than the air-conditioned room below.
