The Reptile Veterinary Clinic at the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute in Bangkok is Thailand's first officially licensed veterinary clinic dedicated exclusively to the specialized medical treatment and healthcare of reptiles.
The Reptile Veterinary Clinic, also known as the Reptile Science Clinic, is located within the historic grounds of the Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute (Snake Farm) of the Thai Red Cross Society on Rama IV Road in Bangkok. Housed in the 99th Snake Farm Building, it is recognized as Thailand's first official reptile veterinary clinic licensed by the Department of Livestock Development's Bureau of Animal Welfare and Veterinary Services. Staffed by specialized veterinarians, scientists, and experienced handlers, the facility provides professional medical care, diagnosis, and health management specifically tailored for reptiles brought in by the general public. In addition to clinical treatment services, the facility operates alongside the world's second-oldest snake farm, which engages in vital scientific research, antivenom production, and educational exhibits.
The closest public transport options are MRT Silom station or BTS Sala Daeng station (Exit 2), both of which are approximately a 5-minute walk away.
