Cats and small to medium dogs are accepted, but rules are set by each unit's owner, so confirm weight or breed limits in the lease. Pet owners usually pay a 3-month deposit instead of 2. In common areas keep dogs leashed, carry pets through the lobby and lifts, and clean up after them.

Description

Up Ekkamai (อัพ เอกมัย), formerly Estella Ekkamai, is a 30-storey condominium by Nusasiri on the northern section of Sukhumvit Soi 63 (Ekkamai Road) in Watthana, Bangkok. Completed around 2011–2013, the single tower has about 259 units built around an "art condominium" theme, with gallery-style corridors and open city views.

Units range from one-bedroom (about 30–56 sq.m) and two-bedroom (about 59–89 sq.m) layouts to penthouses of up to about 128 sq.m. Residents share a sky swimming pool with a sun deck, a fitness centre and sauna, a sky garden and a resident lounge and library, with keycard floor access, 24-hour security, CCTV and a multi-level car park.

Leasing agents list it as one of the few pet-friendly high-rises along Ekkamai. Cats and small to medium dogs are accepted, but each owner sets the rules for their unit, so check pet terms before signing a lease.

The north end of Ekkamai is busy, so take care when walking a dog on the street. Vets, pet salons and pet-friendly cafés are a short drive away.

Getting there

The nearest BTS station is Ekkamai (Sukhumvit Line), about 2.2–2.4 km south of the building; from there take a motorcycle taxi, bus or taxi up Ekkamai Road (5–7 minutes). The Airport Rail Link at Ramkhamhaeng and the Khlong Saen Saep canal boat piers at the north end of Ekkamai are also a short ride away.

By car, turn into Sukhumvit Soi 63 and drive towards the New Phetchaburi Road junction; the building is on the right near SSP Tower. From New Phetchaburi Road it is about a minute south on Ekkamai. The Chalong Rat and Si Rat expressways are close by.
