Description

Namton Boutique Hotel (น้ำทอง บูติก โฮเทล) was built in 2019 and refreshed in 2022–2023. This intimate 18-room hotel combines contemporary comfort with Northern Thai (Lanna) style, with dark wooden doors, antique-style furnishings and decorative details.

The air-conditioned Deluxe Double and King rooms measure about 32–34 sqm and have a flat-screen cable TV, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a safe, a seating area and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a deep soaking bathtub.

Facilities include an outdoor dipping pool with a poolside lounge bar, a restaurant serving Thai and international dishes, a tour desk, a 24-hour reception, bicycle rental and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Free parking is available.

The hotel is on a quieter stretch of Samlarn Road in the Old City cultural district, among local eateries, quiet coffee shops, massage shops and convenience stores.

Getting there

The address is 18 Samlarn Road in the Old City of Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai International Airport is about 2.5–3.5 km away, 8–10 minutes by taxi, Grab, Bolt or red songthaew, and the hotel can arrange an airport pick-up. The railway station and Arcade bus terminal are roughly 4–5 km away, 15–20 minutes by taxi or songthaew.

By car, enter the Old City moat through Suan Dok Gate or Chiang Mai Gate, take Samlarn Road and continue towards its northern end near Wat Phra Singh. Free parking is available on site and nearby.
