Dogs and cats are welcome. Small to medium pets up to 20 kg are accepted; confirm with the hotel before booking if your pet is heavier.
Pets stay free of charge, with no extra pet fee or surcharge. A maximum of two pets per room applies.
Pet bowls can be requested from the hotel. Guests are asked to keep pets off beds and furniture and to follow the house pet etiquette. Rooms have easy-to-clean hardwood or tiled floors.
The enclosed garden courtyards, terraces and open-air paths are suitable for leashed strolls.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Pha Thai House is a traditional boutique hotel that has welcomed travellers for over 30 years. Its second-generation owners, who are animal lovers, revamped it as a pet-friendly retreat after the pandemic.
The architecture blends classic northern Thai style with teak furniture and wooden floors, alongside modern conveniences. Air-conditioned rooms have refrigerators, desks and en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and some rooms have private balconies.
A central courtyard holds an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, surrounded by shaded tropical gardens. Facilities include an on-site café and breakfast area, tour assistance and massage services.
The hotel sits on the quiet, residential southern edge of the Old City, within easy walking distance of street food stalls, trendy cafés, massage parlours and convenience stores.

The address is 48/1 Ratchapakhinai Road, Tambon Phra Sing, Chiang Mai 50200, in the southern part of the Old City, inside the moat.
From Chiang Mai International Airport, the hotel is about 3.5–5 km away, a 10–15 minute drive. Take a Grab or an airport taxi, or a red songthaew towards Chiang Mai Gate or Ratchapakhinai Road. The hotel also offers an airport shuttle for an extra fee.
Free on-site parking is available for guests. Spaces are limited because of the Old City layout, but valet and staff-assisted parking is offered.
