Pets are welcome and must be requested in advance. The fee is about THB 200 per pet per day on booking channels. Guests must bring up-to-date vaccination records.
Small dogs may stay in the guest rooms with their owners. Larger dogs can be accommodated on site in a separate dog hotel building with pet-sitters. Confirm sizes and arrangements with the lodge before booking.
The property has a fenced dog park and playground, an outdoor dog swimming pool, garden areas and pet walking zones.

BaanMax Boutique Pet Resort & Lodge (บ้านแม็กซ์ บูติก เพ็ท รีสอร์ท แอนด์ ลอดจ์) is a small boutique lodge and bed and breakfast, run by Panpruet Co., Ltd., on the grounds of an award-winning Pomeranian kennel, surrounded by organic gardens and rice paddies.
It has only a few private units, including Deluxe Double Studios, Family Rooms and One-Bedroom Houses or villas, with air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, patios or terraces with garden and northern mountain views, flat-screen TVs, minibars and bathrobes.
Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, picnic and sun terraces, a shared lounge and the restaurant Max's Kitchen, serving Thai and European dishes and homemade breakfast.
The lodge is in a quiet, semi-rural setting of farmland and views of the northern hills, still near main roads and shops.

The address is 763 Moo 10, Piang Saeng Uthit Road, Ban Du, Mueang Chiang Rai. It is only 1.5–2 km (3–5 minutes by car) from Mae Fah Luang – Chiang Rai International Airport, where taxis are available and transfers can be arranged with the property.
The city centre and bus terminal are about 7–8 km south by taxi, private car or red songthaew along Phahonyothin Road towards Ban Du. Free on-site parking is provided.
