Guests stay in private bungalows with a ground-level patio and direct access to the outdoors. Pets can use the large lawn and the walking paths beside the rice fields and fish pond.

Description

Huean Himbo Homestay (เฮือนฮิมบ่อโฮมสเตย์เชียงราย) is a Thai-Lanna style countryside homestay with twin wooden bungalows behind the owner's house, which gives guests privacy while the hosts are close by.

Each bungalow has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a television and a private bathroom. A front veranda overlooks a fish pond, and a rear balcony faces the rice paddies and the sunset. Organic vegetable plots and open space surround the buildings, and the setting is quiet.

The homestay is in a quiet farming village with rice fields, orchards and rural mountain views.

Getting there

The address is 21 Moo 5, Ban Mueang Ruang, Den Ha – Dong Mada Road (Route 1211), Mae Kon, Mueang Chiang Rai. From the city centre, drive southwest along Route 1211 towards Singha Park, then continue about 2.5–3 km past the main park entrance to Ban Mueang Ruang.

Chiang Rai International Airport is about 21–25 km away, roughly 30–35 minutes by car. Taxis, Grab and rental cars are available at the airport. Free parking is available at the homestay.
