Ruan Dok Kaew Resort is a rustic budget bungalow resort in woodland behind Khon Kaen University, about 6 km from the city centre. Dogs and cats of any size stay with their owners, usually without a fee.

Dogs and cats are welcome, there is no strict weight limit and large breeds are accepted.
There has generally been no separate pet surcharge, but advance notice is required. Several pets can share a bungalow, up to six depending on its size and your agreement with the property. Pets may sleep inside the bungalows with their owners.
The 35-rai grounds of woodland, lawns and orchards give dogs plenty of space to walk and exercise.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Ruan Dok Kaew Resort (เรือนดอกแก้วรีสอร์ท), also known as Murraya Green Resort, is a simple, eco-minded nature retreat and camp centre on a 35-rai (about 14-acre) wooded plot in Ban Non Muang. Besides holiday stays it serves as a youth activity site and seminar venue.
There are about 25 standalone bungalows and contemporary Isan-style wooden houses under a thick canopy of shade trees. Rooms are basic, with air conditioning, a water heater and a television; they are older, and some lack extras such as a fridge or a flush toilet.
The resort also offers traditional herbal saunas and a fish spa.
The setting is quiet, green and semi-rural, yet only minutes from the lively student neighbourhoods behind Khon Kaen University. A supermarket is a short drive away.

By car from central Khon Kaen or Mittraphap Road (Highway 2), head north towards Khon Kaen University. Take the road behind the university or the Khon Kaen Western Bypass towards Ban Non Muang, then follow Non Muang Road past the Ban Non Muang five-way junction to the resort entrance. Free parking is available in the grounds.
By taxi or Grab, ask for Ban Non Muang behind the university. Khon Kaen Airport is about 10–12 km away, and taxis also run from Khon Kaen Railway Station.
