ibis Styles Krabi Ao Nang opened in 2014 as a five-storey, 206-room midscale economy hotel in Accor's ibis Styles brand.

Rooms have private balconies, individual air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TVs, mini-refrigerators, tea and coffee facilities and safety deposit boxes. The hotel is known for its Family Rooms, which have double beds plus bunk beds and game consoles for children.

On-site amenities include a lagoon-style outdoor swimming pool with an adult pool and a children's wading pool, The Cliff Cafe and Restaurant with daily buffet breakfast, southern Thai and international dishes, Koh Bar, a casual poolside cocktail lounge, a children's playground, an open-air massage pavilion, meeting rooms and a tour booking desk.

The hotel is at the eastern inland end of Ao Nang, surrounded by limestone karst cliffs. The area has halal restaurants, 7-Eleven stores, local food markets, cafes, pharmacies and tour shops.

Getting there

The address is 725 Ao Nang, Mueang Krabi, Krabi 81180. The entrance is on Noppharat Road, across from the Ao Nang Mosque.

From Krabi International Airport (KBV), it is about 25 to 30 km, a 30 to 45 minute drive. Take an airport taxi, a private transfer or the Krabi Airport shared shuttle bus, and tell the driver you are going to ibis Styles Ao Nang on Noppharat Road.

By car, take Route 4 towards Krabi town, branch onto Route 4034 and follow Route 4203 into Ao Nang.

The hotel runs a free scheduled shuttle van to Ao Nang Beach through the day. Free on-site self-parking has uncovered spaces for cars, vans and motorbikes, plus wheelchair-accessible spaces.
