Pai Lamun Valley is a reasonably priced resort in the rural Thung Yao valley near Pai, with villas, rooms, glamping tents and a pool. Dogs and cats are welcome for a daily fee with advance notice.

Dogs and cats are welcome, but guests must notify the resort in advance rather than arrive unannounced. The fee is THB 300 per pet for a one-day stay, THB 500 per pet for two days, and THB 200 per pet per day for stays of three days or longer.
Standard rooms and villas can take pets once cleared with the property. Pets can use the open lawns, gardens, pine garden and the countryside around the resort.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Pai Lamun Valley is a peaceful resort in a natural valley basin framed by rice fields, pine groves and misty hills. Accommodation ranges from private standalone villas, some with three bedrooms and shared living areas, to standard double and twin rooms and glamping-style bell tents among the trees.
On site are an outdoor swimming pool with a pool view and a children's pool, an open-air garden terrace and a shared lounge. Shared kitchen facilities and barbecue equipment are available.
The resort has a restaurant and serves breakfast daily, with a 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi throughout. Free private parking is available on site.
The resort is quiet, rural and scenic, with mountain views and open green spaces away from the busier town strip.

The address is Moo 1, Thung Yao, Pai, Mae Hong Son. From Chiang Mai, drive north on Highway 107 towards Mae Rim and Mae Taeng, then take Highway 1095 over the 762-curve mountain road into Pai. The journey takes about 3 to 3.5 hours by car or minivan.
The resort is about 3 to 5 km south or south-east of the town centre and the bus station. Head south out of town towards Thung Yao on Route 1095 or local roads; it takes 5 to 10 minutes by scooter, car, songthaew or taxi. Free, spacious parking is available on site.
