Dogs and other pets are generally welcome. The standard fee is THB 300 per pet per day, and larger dog breeds are charged THB 500 per pet. A security deposit for incidental damage may be requested at check-in. There is no strict limit on the number of pets, but the fee applies to each animal.
Guests stay in ground-level or low-rise bungalow units with private entrances and terraces, which makes coming and going with a pet easy. Pets can use the private terraces and the garden.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
The House Pai (เดอะเฮ้าปาย) is a quiet, residential-style guesthouse made up of private, self-contained units, each numbered individually. It is aimed at independent travellers, digital nomads and couples looking for a restful stay.
The bungalow-style units have air conditioning, a king bed, a private bathroom, a work desk, fast Wi-Fi, a TV and a private balcony or terrace. Most also have a kitchen with a fridge, hob, microwave and cookware, plus a washing machine.
Check-in is by self-service lockbox, with the code and arrival directions sent beforehand. Quiet hours run from 10 pm to 8 am, loud speakers and instruments are not allowed, outside visitors are not permitted after 8 pm, and housekeeping is on request rather than daily. Free on-site parking is available for cars and motorbikes.
The guesthouse is in a quiet residential part of Wiang Tai, near the Pai River and Rim Pai Market, and only a short ride from the centre of town.

The address is 782 Moo 8, Wiang Tai, Pai, Mae Hong Son. From Chiang Mai, take a minivan from the Arcade bus station or drive along Highway 1095 through the mountains, which takes about 3 to 4 hours.
The property is about 1.2 km from the Pai Bus Terminal, roughly a 12–15 minute walk, or a short songthaew or motorbike taxi ride. A transfer from the terminal or airport can be requested directly with the host. Free parking is available on site for cars and motorbikes.
