Hug Valley Cafe is a nature café and restaurant between Khao E-go and Khao I-bit in Khao Yoi. Dogs can walk the lawns on a leash, and enter the air-conditioned building only in a stroller or carrier.

Dogs may enter the air-conditioned indoor area only if they stay in a pet stroller or carrier. Outside, dogs can walk the open lawns and lakeside areas on a leash, under close supervision.

There is no pet entry fee and no size or weight limit. There is no dog or cat menu, and the café keeps no resident animals. Visitors can bring their own pets.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Description

Hug Valley Cafe is a nature-focused café and restaurant in a valley surrounded by limestone mountains, with a lake, an iconic wooden bridge and open-air and glasshouse-style seating. It serves espresso drinks, coconut matcha, cocoa and Italian sodas, plus soft milk cake, pastries and homemade ice cream.

The menu also includes Thai and Western dishes such as pad thai, basil minced pork rice, Caesar salad, steaks, spaghetti and chicken nuggets.

It suits visitors who want a scenic outing with a dog on a leash, and families and photographers. It is a general café rather than a dedicated dog café.

Getting there

The café is in Khao Yoi District, reached from Phetkasem Road (Route 4) by turning into local roads toward Khao E-go and Nong Chumphon. It is about 1.5 to 2 hours by car from Bangkok.

There is no BTS or MRT nearby. A spacious, free on-site parking lot is available.
