Peak Bar & Restaurant Cha-am is a relaxed open-air restaurant and bar right on the beach at Bang Kao. The kitchen mixes Thai seafood with Japanese cooking, with dishes such as Thai fish sashimi, squid sashimi, seafood hot pot, crab rolls and Thai seafood curries, plus cocktails, draft beer and fresh juices.
The space suits long afternoons by the sea: wooden tables face the water, and air-conditioned rooms sit alongside the open-air seating. Live music plays on weekend evenings, and the restaurant hosts private parties, seminars and banquets for groups of up to 500 guests. It suits groups of friends and families who want seafood with their dog nearby.
The restaurant is on the shore at Bang Kao beach, in Tambon Bang Kao, Cha-am, about 170 km south of Bangkok. Drive along Phetkasem Road (Route 4) and turn onto coastal Route 4028 toward Bang Kao.
There is no BTS or MRT station nearby. Use Haad Taweesuk (Bang Kao Beach) as a landmark. On-site parking is available for cars.
