Dogs and cats are welcome, up to 10 kg each and a maximum of two pets per villa. Pets may only stay in the Sala Pool Villas and Beachfront Layan Pool Villas.

The fee is THB 1,500++ per pet per night (about THB 1,766 including service charge and tax), and half of it is donated to non-profit groups helping stray animals in Asia. There is no standard cleaning fee, but you pay for any damage or deep cleaning of soiled furniture, linen or floors.

Send a valid pet passport or vaccination records (including rabies and core vaccines, with a health clearance) in advance or show them at check-in. Pets must be well socialised and not aggressive.

Pets must be on a lead and supervised at all times, and may not be left alone in the villa or public areas. They are not allowed in the shared pools, restaurants, bars, lounges, spa, fitness centre, activity areas, kids' club or meeting rooms. A dog-walking area is shown to you at check-in.

Pet beds, food bowls and a pet menu are available, and pet sitting and dog walking can be booked in advance for an extra charge.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Anantara Layan Phuket Resort (อนันตรา ลายัน ภูเก็ต รีสอร์ท) is a five-star beachfront resort overlooking the calm waters of Layan Bay on Phuket's north-west coast. It has 30 suites, 42 private pool villas and 27 multi-bedroom hillside residences, the Layan Residences by Anantara.

From Phuket International Airport, about 9–13 km away, the drive takes around 20 minutes. Head south on Route 4031, join Route 4018, then turn right into Layan Soi 4 and follow the road to the resort entrance at Layan Beach.

The resort offers private limousine transfers, can book local taxis and arranges an optional VIP fast-track service at the airport. Free self-parking and valet parking are available, with EV charging points.
