The resort welcomes dogs and cats; exotic animals are not accepted. Pets of any size are allowed if they are non-aggressive, fully vaccinated and well socialised. Up to two pets may stay in each eligible villa.

The fee is THB 1,500 per pet per night plus service charge and taxes, about THB 1,766 net. There is no cleaning deposit, but guests pay for any damage or deep cleaning caused by their pets. Pets may stay only in designated categories: the Pool Pavilion Villa, the Two Bedroom Pool Suite and the Two Bedroom Pool Pavilion. Rooms are prepared with food and water bowls, and a litter box for cats.

There are designated dog-walking and exercise areas in the grounds. Outside the villa, pets must be on a leash and supervised at all times. They are not allowed in indoor dining areas, bars, shared pools, the gym, the kids' club or the spa.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Description

Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas (โรงแรมอนันตรา ไม้ขาว ภูเก็ต วิลล่า) is a five-star resort of standalone villas and pavilions inspired by traditional southern Thai architecture, set around calm lagoons and landscaped gardens originally designed by Bill Bensley. It was one of the filming locations for the third season of HBO's The White Lotus.

Each villa has a walled private courtyard, a sundeck, a private swimming pool and an outdoor sunken terrazzo bathtub. Pet guests can choose the Pool Pavilion Villa, the Two Bedroom Pool Suite or the Two Bedroom Pool Pavilion.

Facilities include the Anantara Spa, a fitness centre, a tennis court and a beachfront infinity pool. Restaurants include Sea.Fire.Salt for seafood and grills and La Sala for Thai and Indian food, along with bars for sunset drinks.

Neighbourhood

The resort is in a peaceful, low-density coastal area bordering Sirinat National Park, with quiet beaches and green coastal landscapes. A small shopping and dining centre is within walking distance.

Mai Khao Beach (in front of the resort): Phuket's longest beach, known for sunsets and plane-spotting near the runway.
Turtle Village Shops & Cuisine (short walk): an outdoor shopping and dining centre next to the resort.
Sarasin Bridge (short drive north): the bridge linking Phuket with Phang Nga on the mainland.

Getting there

The address is 888 Moo 3, Mai Khao, Thalang, Phuket. The resort is about 13–15 km north of Phuket International Airport, roughly 15 minutes by car.

From the airport, head north for about 3 km, turn left onto Route 402 (Thepkrasattri Road) and continue north for around 10 km, then turn left into Moo 3, Mai Khao, and follow the road for about 600 m to the resort entrance. The resort can arrange private airport transfers on request. Free self-parking and valet parking are available for guests.
