No pet fee or deposit is published, and no pet-only rooms are set aside. The units include individual bungalows and ground-floor poolside suites. The grounds have courtyard gardens, terraces and patios, but no enclosed dog run.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Description

Kamala Tropical Garden (กมลาทรอปิคอล การ์เดน) is a small tropical resort built in 2013 and renovated in 2022, with guest bathrooms updated in 2024. It has 15–16 rooms and standalone bungalows.

The resort is tucked just off the main road behind a front restaurant, and opens into a quiet inner courtyard planted with tropical greenery. Rooms have air conditioning, a private balcony or terrace, free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator and satellite TV.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar, sun loungers and 24-hour access, a children's pool, and sauna and relaxation facilities. A cafe on site serves breakfast and snacks daily.

Neighbourhood

The resort is in the middle of Kamala village on the main road. The area is walkable, with seafood restaurants, bars, pharmacies, tour kiosks and motorbike rental shops.

Famous landmarks nearby:

Kamala Beach (about 430–600 m): a 5–10 minute walk.
Tsunami Memorial Park (about 420–460 m): a memorial park, next to a dive centre.
Kamala Mosque (about 430 m): the local mosque.
Big C Market Kamala (about 300–400 m): a supermarket, with 7-Eleven stores nearby.
Phuket FantaSea (about 1 km): a theme park, 3–5 minutes by car.
Patong Beach and Bangla Road (about 8.6 km): 10–15 minutes by vehicle.

Getting there

The resort entrance is directly on Kamala Main Road (Moo 3) in Kamala village, Phuket. If you drive or ride a motorbike, follow the signs to Kamala Beach. Free parking is available on site and in designated spaces nearby.

From Phuket International Airport it is about 23–27 km, roughly 35–45 minutes by taxi or ride-hailing car (Grab or Bolt) via Route 402 and 4030, or through Cherngtalay and Surin Beach along the coastal highway. Airport transfers can be arranged through the resort or booking partners.
