The hotel accepts domestic dogs and cats only, small to medium sized, up to 20 kg each, with a maximum of two pets per room. The pet fee is THB 500 net per pet per night, added to the room bill. The usual check-in deposit for incidentals also applies, generally around THB 1,000.

All standard room types can take pets on request. On arrival, pets receive a bed, a water bowl and welcome treats. Bring your pet's vaccination records to show at check-in. You must be in the room with your pet while housekeeping or maintenance work is done.

Outside the room, pets must be on a leash at all times. They are not allowed in the lobby, the restaurants and bars, the rooftop pool area or the gym. Garden space on site is limited, but Patong Beach is a 10–15 minute walk away for morning and evening walks.

Mercure Phuket Patong Journeyhub (เมอร์เคียว ภูเก็ต ป่าตอง เจอร์นี่ย์ฮับ) is a four-star lifestyle hotel run by Accor, and one of the few international-brand hotels in Patong that accepts pets.

It has 196 modern, air-conditioned rooms and suites in four categories: Classic Rooms, Privilege Mountain View Rooms, Premier Corner Rooms and Two-Bedroom Family Suites. Every room has free Wi-Fi, a work desk, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe and blackout curtains.

The open-air rooftop pool and bar has a sun deck with views of the green hills around Patong. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet plus Indian, Thai and international dishes. There is also a 24-hour gym, a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk.

Neighbourhood

The hotel is slightly inland from the noisy beachfront nightlife. Right outside there are a 24-hour 7-Eleven, laundry shops, street food stalls and motorbike taxi stands.

Getting there

The hotel is at 240/8 Sai Kor Road, Patong's inner city-planning road, reached by turning off Phra Metta Road or Sainamyen Road.

Phuket International Airport is about 35–40 km north, 45–60 minutes by car, metered taxi or Grab or Bolt. The hotel can arrange paid airport transfers on request.

Locally, songthaews, motorbike taxis and the Phuket Smart Bus (stopping along Patong Beach and at Jungceylon) serve the area, and the hotel runs a scheduled shuttle to the beach and Bangla Road. Free on-site parking, including accessible spaces, is available for guests.
