Dogs and cats are allowed on advance request in designated pet-friendly room types. Tell the resort in writing when you book so they can reserve a pet room for you.

The pet fee is THB 400 per pet per night, with a maximum of two pets per room. Confirm size or weight limits with the resort if you have a large dog.

Pets must not be left alone in the room. The hillside grounds have open-air paths and garden areas where dogs can be walked.

Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.

Description

Secret Cliff Resort & Restaurant Phuket is built on wooded slopes above the Andaman Sea and is known for its sunset views. It has around 111 rooms and private villas, with air conditioning, wooden or tiled floors, a sea-view or garden balcony, flat-screen TV and minibar.

Because the resort is spread over a steep cliffside on several levels, golf carts run 24 hours a day between the rooms, the lobby and the restaurants.

There are two outdoor pools, including an infinity pool with sea views and a poolside cocktail bar. The open-air Secret Cliff Restaurant serves southern Thai food, fresh seafood and international dishes on a terrace overlooking the coast. A spa offers Thai massage, sauna and steam room, and there is a fitness room.

Neighbourhood

The resort sits in green, rainforest-covered hillside above the sea, quiet but only minutes from the busy beach towns of Karon and Patong.

Famous landmarks nearby:

Karon Noi Beach (Relax Bay) (about 500 m): a small bay close to the resort.
Karon Beach (about 1–1.5 km): a long sandy beach with restaurants.
Patong Beach and Bangla Road (about 5 km): the main beach and nightlife street of Patong.
Karon Viewpoint and Big Buddha Phuket (about 10–12 km): famous viewpoints to the south.

Getting there

The resort is at 707 Patak Road (Route 4030), on the seaward side of the cliff road between Patong and Karon, directly opposite the Patong Boxing Gym.

From Phuket International Airport, about 30–40 km away, allow 45–60 minutes by airport taxi, Grab or Bolt, shared minibus or rental car, heading south towards Patong and Karon. The resort can arrange an airport transfer for an extra charge.

From Patong Beach, drive south uphill on Route 4030 for about 4.5 km (5–7 minutes). From Karon Beach, head north on Patak Road for 3–5 minutes.

Free self-parking and valet parking are available on site for cars, motorbikes and larger vehicles.
