At-Pran Sunrise Beach Resort is a reasonably priced beach resort in Sam Roi Yot, across a road from the sea. It takes dogs and cats up to 30 kg in ground-floor rooms for a small fee.
Price range: about THB 1,000–2,000 a night for standard rooms; pool villas cost more.

Dogs and cats are welcome; tell the resort when you book. Pets up to about 30 kg are accepted, and larger dogs may be possible after discussing it in advance. Usually one pet is allowed per room, with more by arrangement with the management.
Pet fees are charged per stay: about THB 100 for cats, THB 200–300 for small dogs under 10 kg, THB 300 for medium dogs of 10–30 kg and THB 400 for large dogs over 30 kg.
Pet owners are given ground-floor rooms and bungalows with patios opening onto the gardens. The resort has shaded gardens and lawns, and pets may walk on the sand of the quiet beach across the road. Keep pets on a leash in shared areas.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
At-Pran Sunrise Beach Resort (แอท ปราณ ซันไรส์ บีช รีสอร์ท) is a small, low-rise beach resort with a casual, homely feel, popular with cyclists, runners and pet owners looking for a quiet seaside break.
There are roughly 17–26 units, including standalone bungalows, beachfront pool-access villas and family options. Rooms have air conditioning, private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and mini-fridges, and some have rooftop decks or pool-view balconies.
Facilities include an outdoor pool with a separate kids' splash pool, free bicycles for exploring the coast, breakfast and dining on site, and barbecue equipment for hire.
A quiet, uncommercial stretch of beach between southern Pran Buri and northern Sam Roi Yot, with limestone mountains behind and simple seafood restaurants nearby.

By car from Bangkok (about 240 km, 3–3.5 hours), take Highway 35 (Rama II Road) or Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) south through Cha-am, Hua Hin and Pran Buri, then turn towards Khao Kalok and Sam Roi Yot Beach and follow the coastal road to Ban Mai. Free parking is available on site.
By train, get off at Pranburi Railway Station, about 10–12 km away, or at Hua Hin, then take a songthaew or taxi. The nearest airport is Hua Hin Airport, about 40–45 km to the north.
