The Standard, Hua Hin is a premium beachfront resort on Naresdamri Road in Hua Hin. It welcomes dogs and cats in selected rooms and villas, up to two small pets or one larger dog per room.
Price range: about THB 4,000–7,000 a night for rooms; pool villas from about THB 9,600, plus THB 1,500 per pet per night.

Dogs and cats are welcome. Each room takes up to two small pets under 11 kg each, or one larger dog up to 20 kg. Pets must be fully trained. They stay only in selected Standard room categories and villas such as the Canopy Villas, Standard Pool Villas and Plush Pool Villas; availability is limited, so confirm the pet booking in advance.
A cleaning fee of THB 1,500 per pet per night applies, and a refundable damage deposit may be requested at check-in (confirm the amount with the hotel). Certified service animals are exempt from the pet fee.
On arrival pets receive a pet bed, blanket, food and water bowls, waste bags and a welcome pet ice cream. Dog treats and dog spa and massage services are also available.
Pets must be on a leash in common areas and around the grounds. They are welcome at the outdoor seating of Lido Terrace and The Juice Café, but not in other indoor restaurants and bars, the main pool or the private villa pools. The resort gives 5% of its pet-related revenue to local animal rescue charities.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
The Standard, Hua Hin (โรงแรม เดอะ สแตนดาร์ด หัวหิน) is a design-led beachfront resort set in tropical gardens of preserved native plants. It reworks the old seaside holiday feel of Hua Hin with bright retro colours, yellow pool umbrellas and mid-century modern furniture.
There are 196 rooms, suites and private pool villas, including Canopy Villas, Standard Pool Villas and Plush Pool Villas.
Dining includes Lido, an all-day Italian and Mediterranean restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating; Praça, a restored Thai wooden house on the beach serving Thai dishes and cocktails with sea views; The Juice Café for coffee and fresh juices; and the poolside Lido Bar.
For wellness there is an outdoor beachfront pool, a 24-hour Technogym fitness centre and The Standard Spa with private cabana treatments, steam and sauna, and a mud lounge.
The resort sits right on Hua Hin Beach in the town centre, within walking distance of the railway station, night markets, restaurants and shops.

By car from Bangkok the resort is about 200 km away, roughly 2.5–3 hours via Route 35 (Rama II Road) and then Route 4 (Phetkasem Road). Free on-site self-parking is available, with EV charging and accessible spaces.
By train, services run from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal in Bangkok to Hua Hin Railway Station in about 3.5–5 hours depending on the class. The resort is about 600–700 m from the station, roughly a 10-minute walk or a 5–10-minute taxi ride.
Buses and vans leave regularly from Bangkok, for example from the Southern Bus Terminal or Ekkamai, to Hua Hin Bus Terminal. From there a local taxi or songthaew reaches the resort in under 10 minutes.
