Dogs and cats are welcome, especially in the garden walkways, streamside paths and open-air café areas. There is generally no pet fee and no strict size or weight limit.
Pets are mainly allowed in the outdoor gardens and designated zones. The rooms have handcrafted wood, natural mats and open layouts, so if you want to stay overnight with a pet, tell the property and confirm the arrangements before booking.
Pets must be on a lead and supervised at all times. The farm has its own free-roaming dogs and cats as well as chickens, so keep your pet under control and clean up after it.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Baan Rai I Arun (บ้านไร่ ไออรุณ) is an eco farmstay, café and farm retreat created by local architect Viroj Chimme, who turned his family's farmland in his home town into a sustainable retreat. It is known for its natural wooden cottages, organic gardens, streams and slow-paced atmosphere.
There are about 17 individually designed private cottages, from riverside bamboo huts (Baan Rim Than) and garden homes to raised treehouses (Baan Ton Mai) and family houses (Baan Man Mok, Baan Ing Chan). Rooms have open windows, forest views and semi-outdoor bathtubs among tropical plants. Breakfast is included.
The restaurant and café serve southern Thai food made with vegetables and edible flowers grown on the farm. It is open to day visitors from morning until late afternoon, with evening meals for overnight guests.
The setting is rural and peaceful, with misty hills, rainforest, orchards and clear streams all around.

Baan Rai I Arun is in Kapoe District, Ranong, about 50 km south of Ranong town.
By car or motorbike from Ranong town, drive south on Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) towards Kapoe for about 45–60 minutes, then follow the signs onto a paved rural road for about 3 km to the entrance. From Ranong Airport the drive takes about 30–40 minutes. Free parking is at the entrance, next to the reception and restaurant pavilion.
By public transport, take a local songthaew from Ranong Bus Terminal towards Kapoe and ask to be dropped at the junction or nearest access road, then arrange a local transfer.
