Chor Chang Villa Resort (ช.ช้าง) is a reasonably priced Lanna-style resort in Choeng Mon, Koh Samui, with rooms and pool villas. Pets are accepted on request, generally free of charge, subject to prior approval.

Description

Chor Chang Villa Resort (ช.ช้าง วิลล่า รีสอร์ท) is a quiet family retreat with architecture and decor inspired by the Lanna-Thai style of Chiang Mai, set in lush tropical gardens.

It has 21–23 units, from standard hotel rooms and duplexes to one- and two-bedroom units and three-bedroom private pool villas. All have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a safe and satellite TV. Daily, weekly and monthly stays are available.

Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, an on-site resto-bar serving Thai and Western food, free fibre Wi-Fi and a 24-hour airport transfer service on request.

Neighbourhood

The resort is in a tranquil, village-like area of Choeng Mon with local restaurants, convenience stores, massage shops and a mini golf course nearby.

Getting there

The address is 59/17 Moo 5, Choeng Mon Beach, Bophut, Koh Samui. From Samui International Airport it is about 3.3–5 km northeast, roughly a 10-minute drive. The resort offers a 24-hour airport transfer on request, and fees may apply.

From Bangrak Pier it is a 5–10 minute drive (about 2 km). From Nathon Pier it is roughly 40–50 minutes by taxi or rental car along Route 4169 and 4171 towards Choeng Mon. Red songthaews and taxis run along the main Choeng Mon road. Free private parking is available on site.
