Kimpton Kitalay Samui is an ultra-luxury beachfront resort on Choeng Mon Beach in north-east Koh Samui. Dogs, cats and other domestic pets stay free, with no size limit and up to two per room.

Under the Kimpton Pets programme, the resort welcomes dogs, cats and other domestic pets as members of the family. There is no pet fee, no extra cleaning fee and no deposit. There are no weight, height or breed limits: if your pet fits safely in the lift and through the door, it is welcome. Wild or venomous animals are not accepted.
Up to two pets are allowed per room, and pets may stay in all room types, including suites and private pool villas. On request the resort provides pet beds, food and water bowls, toys, grooming kits and loan pet strollers, and a pet concierge helps with arrangements.
A pet walking trail runs around the grounds, and there is a dog run. Pets may join their owners at the outdoor tables of some restaurants, such as Boho and FishHouse, but not inside air-conditioned dining rooms, in the bars or in the main swimming pools. In public areas pets must be on a leash or in a stroller, they must be house-trained, and owners must clean up after them.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
Kimpton Kitalay Samui (โรงแรมคิมป์ตัน คีตาเล สมุย) is a five-star beachfront resort run by IHG Hotels & Resorts. Its name comes from Thai words for the song or story of the sea, and the design follows a fishing-village theme that mixes contemporary architecture with traditional island craftsmanship.
There are 138 rooms, suites and villas. Essential Rooms start at 58 sq m, and there are also Pool Access Rooms, One-Bedroom Suites and private Pool Villas, including beachfront and multi-bedroom villas.
Facilities include a large seafront swimming pool and a separate children's pool, the Kitavaree Spa & Wellness, the 500 sq m split-level JUNIO Kids' Club, a 24-hour gym, yoga sessions and kayaks and paddleboards. Kimpton's evening social hour offers complimentary drinks and snacks from 5 to 6 pm, and there is a morning coffee and tea bar.
Dining choices are FishHouse for beachfront seafood grills, Boho Thai Plus for all-day dining and the breakfast buffet, HOM Baking Company for bread and pastries, SHIO for Japanese robata and sushi, and SHADES Ocean Lounge & Bar for poolside cocktails.
Choeng Mon is a quiet beach with soft white sand and gentle waves, calmer and more family-oriented than the busier parts of the island.

The resort is on Choeng Mon Beach at the north-eastern tip of Koh Samui, in Bo Put subdistrict. Samui International Airport is only about 5.5 km away, a 10–15 minute drive by airport taxi, rental car or a transfer arranged with the resort.
Coming from the mainland by car ferry (for example Seatran or Raja Ferry from Surat Thani to Nathon Pier or Lipa Noi Pier), drive north-east on Route 4169 and Route 4171 towards Choeng Mon, about 45–60 minutes. Free on-site parking is available for guests, with accessible spaces and paid EV charging.
