Mantra Samui Resort (มันตรา สมุย รีสอร์ท) is an upscale, adults-only lifestyle and wellness retreat high on a tropical hillside in Mae Nam, with a minimum age of 16–18 years.
The air-conditioned rooms, suites and apartments start from 67 m². They are styled with neutral fabrics and dark wood, and have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, safes and oversized balconies with panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand or the garden hillsides.
The View Kitchen + Bar serves Thai and international dishes. Facilities include a 24-metre outdoor infinity pool with a sun deck, the Jai Spa, a fitness centre, the Saol Wellness programme and the Work Lounge, a co-working space for remote workers.
The resort is in a quiet, elevated tropical area away from the traffic of the coast road, surrounded by hillside greenery and overlooking Bo Phut Bay.
Famous landmarks nearby:
The resort is in the hills of Mae Nam, about 8–8.5 km west of Samui International Airport, 10–15 minutes by taxi, airport ride-hailing or hotel transfer.
From Nathon Pier, Lipa Noi Pier or Maenam Pier, take a taxi or songthaew along the island ring road (Route 4169) towards Mae Nam and Bo Phut, then turn south onto the inland hillside road up to the resort, following the local signs. The terrain is steep, so a rental car or scooter, taxi or resort shuttle is recommended. Free self-parking is available on site.
