Description

Mindset is a specialty coffee shop and bistro with a modern loft design, orange-brick walls and large oval windows. The shaded, forest-like garden and the outdoor white spiral staircase make it popular for photos.

The coffee is made with local beans, with espresso, the signature dirty coffee, matcha and teas. Food includes a daily Northern Thai khao soi, pad krapow and tom yum, plus Basque burnt cheesecake and soft chocolate chip cookies.

It is a regular café rather than a dog-focused venue, with no dog-specific facilities such as an off-leash run or pet pool. It suits road travellers and coffee lovers who want a calm place to stop with their dog.

Getting there

Mindset is on Asian Highway 2 (AH2) in Tak Ok, Ban Tak District, Tak Province. It is on the left when heading north, about 700 metres past the Ban Tak District Office.

Ban Tak is rural and has no BTS or MRT, so visitors drive, ride or take a taxi. The café has a dedicated car park on its grounds.
