Dogs and cats are welcome on request, and the hotel must be told when booking. Dogs up to 20 kg are permitted.
The pet fee is THB 1,000 per pet per night. Pets stay in designated pet-friendly room types, up to two pets per room. Food and water bowls and litter boxes are available, and housekeeping cleans the room only when the owner is present.
Pets may be on designated outdoor grounds, garden paths and beach areas, on a leash. They are not permitted in the swimming pool, and near dining or pool areas they must be kept under control, in a stroller or wearing a diaper.
Please follow the rules, be polite and considerate, and do not leave pets unattended unless you have agreed this in advance with the staff.
The Chill Resort & Spa Koh Chang is an upscale, contemporary boutique resort with 38 individually styled rooms, suites and villas, set in tropical landscaping with a minimalist design.
Room categories include The Chill Deluxe, with pool-view balconies; The Splash Deluxe, with direct ground-floor access to the main lap pool; The Sky Jacuzzi Suite; Pool Villas; and private Beachfront Pool Villas.
Facilities include a long signature lap and infinity pool extending towards the ocean, the full-service Chill Spa with Thai massages, aromatherapy and scrubs, a fitness centre, and direct private beach access. Kayaks and bicycles are available for guests.
Dining centres on the beachfront Chill-Out Cafe, known for fusion Thai and international food, sunset drinks and an all-day à la carte breakfast.
The resort is in the central Kai Bae Beach community, with a more relaxed feel than the busier White Sand Beach. Within a short walk along Kai Bae's main road are local seafood restaurants, cafés, convenience stores and massage parlours.

The address is 19/21 Moo 4, Kai Bae Beach, Tambon Ko Chang, Amphoe Ko Chang, Trat 23170. Fly with Bangkok Airways from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) to Trat Airport (TDX), about 1 hour. Or take a bus or minivan from Bangkok (Eastern Bus Terminal Ekkamai or Mo Chit) to the piers in Laem Ngop, Trat, about 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
Take a car ferry from Ao Thammachat Pier or Centerpoint Pier on the mainland to Koh Chang. Ferries run regularly between about 06:30 and 18:30, and the crossing takes 30 to 45 minutes.
From the island pier, drive south along the main western coastal road through White Sand Beach and Klong Prao Beach to Kai Bae Beach, about 16–18 km or 30–40 minutes by car. Free self-parking is available on site for cars and motorbikes, with accessible spaces and 24-hour security.
