Ollie hates the bin lid

Ollie loses her mind every time the bin lid bangs in the morning. Our bin is outside the gate, the bin man comes at 7 and he has the same loud bin lid every time. Ollie runs to the front door, then barks at the lid like it is an enemy. She is three years old and only 2 kilos, so it's a very big voice. I tried giving her a treat every time the bin man comes, now she thinks the bin man is her friend. That is a weird result but it works. She still barks but then she wags. The bin man does not understand at all, he waves at Ollie every morning now. We moved the bin away from the gate for a week and it was peaceful. Then the bin man complained, so we are back to the old spot. Ollie is not happy about this but I am.
