I have been with the insurance for about 2 years now for Udon, she is a 7 year old mixed breed and she is very good at finding trouble. Last year she eat a plastic hair clip from the floor and we need surgery to remove it. The bill is around 40k baht, I was so shocked.
The claim process was not so bad, but you need to be patient. They ask for every receipt, the vet's report and the x-ray, and they check everything. I wait about 3 weeks for money. My friend say her company is faster but I dont really know.
The thing i didnt expect is the monthly fee went up this year. Not a lot, but still annoying. I also learned that pre-existing condition are not covered, so when Udon start with the skin allergy, she got nothing back. Read the policy carefully, honestly i did not read it at first. Lol.
Overall I think it was worth it for the surgery, but for small things like ear infections, I just pay myself. My advice is to start early when she is young, before she get any illness. Thats the main point.
