adopted nam tan, shelter visit notes

We adopted Nam Tan from the shelter in Hang Dong last year. She is 3-year-old Pomeranian now, but when we first saw her she had very bad fur and was very scared. The staff said she came from a house where the owner stopped caring. They asked us many questions, and we had to show the house and sign papers. We visited 3 times before taking her home. I think visiting is important, because she got to know us first and then went home with us. Oishi the hamster and Pudding the Java sparrow are also rescues. Nam Tan is not so friendly with them yet, she only sits and watches. Give it time.
