Lulu ist mein Pudel, eineinhalb Jahre alt, und letzten Monat musste er eine kleine Operation hinter sich bringen. Seitdem wohnen wir in einer Art Dauerkrankenlager in meiner Wohnung in Ekkamai. Die Klimaanlage läuft fast rund um die Uhr, und das hilft ihm bei dieser Hitze enorm.
Das Schwierigste war die Ruhe. Lulu hält sich für einen Hochleistungssportler und wollte ständig die Treppe hoch zum Balkon. Also haben wir Hindernisse aufgebaut, Decken auf den Boden gelegt und sehr, sehr viele Leckerlis verteilt.
Die Medikamente klappen am besten im Frischkäse versteckt. Er hat das jedes Mal sofort durchschaut, aber wenigstens hat er gegessen. Der Tierarzt hat uns zur Kontrolle in zehn Tagen einbestellt. Bis dahin: Spaziergänge kurz und langsam, Pfoten sauber halten und die Halskrause nicht beim Schlafen vergessen.
