miss my old boy bell
Teerawat WetchakulI know this is a weird place to post but I need to write about Bell somewhere. He was my dog for 14 years before he passed in August. Yorkshire terrier, grey face, always thought he was the boss of the whole house even at 3kg. We found him at a shelter in Min Buri when I was 17 and he never left my side after that.
The last month was hard. He stopped eating his favourite chicken and then he just stayed on the bed all day. The vet did what she could but she said his body was tired. I held him while she gave the injection, and I dont think I will ever be ok with that moment.
People say it gets easier, but honestly the house is so quiet. Every night at 10 I still look at the corner where his bed was. Ollie is my current dog now, he is 11 and a half years old, another little Yorkshire. He is not Bell, nobody is, but he sleeps on my feet the same way and that makes me cry sometimes in a good way.
If you had a dog that passed away, I hope you got time to say goodbye. I didnt, I was at work and my mom called me in the taxi.

Maybe take some photos and keep his bed for a while, not to throw it away quickly. My mom did that with her old dog and it helped her a lot. Sorry for your loss
