Hugo keeps peeing tiny amounts and licking a lot

My cat Hugo keeps going to the litter box but only a few drops come out, he cries a bit and licks his private area a lot. He eats normal and plays. It has been 2 days now. Could this be a UTI? I am scared to go to the vet on a holiday weekend though.

   This sounds like it could be a urinary problem. Male cats can get blocked very fast, so please take him to a vet today, do not wait for Monday. Few drops with crying is a warning sign. The vet can do a urine test and maybe give antibiotics or a special diet. A blocked male cat can die within a day or two, so dont risk it.

   I had a cat with the same thing, vet said it was crystals in urine. Wet food helped a lot. Just check with the vet, not YouTube remedies.
